—Where might I find a chair of my own?
A performance work of approximately twenty minutes, created during her studies at the FHNW Academy of Music in Basel.
In this work, chairs—symbols of the inner supports on which we rely—are piled into a mountain. The performer takes them one by one and attempts to sit on each, only to discover that every chair is broken.
How do we confront these unstable chairs, and how might we find one that is truly our own?
